Make a difference! Give back to the community!

IEEE Smart Village invites you to join us for a five day series of workshops, presentations and round-table discussions 26-30 June, 2018 at this year's IEEE Power Africa Conference. Learn from the experience of real "dirt under the fingernails" project managers and leaders who will be giving presentations and workshops from actual experience in their home countries from the rural deployment field.

IEEE Power Africa 2018 will be a platform for participants from academia, electric utilities and industry to discuss experiences, best practices and associated technical developments that can be applied towards the electrification of Africa enabling socio-economic development. The 2018 IEEE Power Africa Conference is hosted by Tshwane University of Technology in Century City, Cape Town, South Africa. The conference will emphasize affordable and clean energy solutions pursued and deployed in African settings.
